Glass art by Gila

‏Gila Hershkovits is a veteran Israeli glass artist who began her journey with an independent studio, where she created unique custom-made glass artworks for private homes and special projects – some of which took months to complete.
‏During one of those projects, she met Nachman, an architect by profession, and what began as a professional collaboration turned into a shared life.

‏For the past 20 years, they’ve been focusing on handcrafted Judaica art – mainly mezuzahs, but also menorahs, candlesticks, hamsas, and other creations – all made using unique glass techniques.
‏Their daughter Liel works alongside them at their booth in the Nachalat Binyamin Art Fair, held twice a week in Tel Aviv.
‏If she doesn’t carry on the tradition, the official retirement is planned for about two years from now – At Nachman 80’s birthday

‏You can find their colorful and one-of-a-kind works at the Nachalat Binyamin Artists’ Market in Tel Aviv, every Tuesday and Friday from 10:00 to 16:00, at 16 Nachalat Binyamin Street.
